Tile 18 Reusable 10MIL Laser-Cut Stencil by PearlDesignStudioRepeat pattern stencils are a beautiful, cost-effective method of creating a custom look for your home or office. This patterned stencil can create a beautiful hand-painted wallpaper effect or floor tile design. Repeat pattern stencils are perfect for DIY beginners to create a modern and dramatic designer look in a weekend project. Better than wallpaper or vinyl sticker or replacing a floor, since you can stencil in any color to perfectly match your decor. See Tile#18 Edge Stencil for easier finishing partial tiles, not included. Picture courtesy of A Dale, P Preiss and others. 10MIL is about the thickness of a playing card and offers more support for long arching shapes. The see thru plastic material is flexible, durable, and makes it easy to position these delightful accents on almost any flat surface. Measurements: Size measurement includes a 0.5" surrounding border, so a 6x6 inch stencil has a 5x5 inch image, and will be listed as 5"tile/6"stencil. Please measure your tiles before ordering, a quarter inch does make a difference on many tile designs. I can scale a design to fit your measurements more easily than replace a return. Need a larger size than listed? I am limited to 18x18-inch square for a design. But quartering the design, which is usually necessary for stencil support, means that you can get a 20x20 inch design with a 10x10 quarter design. Clean-up: For clean-up, wash your stencil in warm soapy water but only when the build-up on the stencil effects your results, pat dry between soft cloths, and store flat. If it is stored rolled up and will not uncurl for you, roll it the opposite direction of the curl, tape it and wait an hour or two. It will flatten. Finish your room with some custom pillows with the same design. Wall stencils aren't just for walls. You can stencil on glass, wood, cement, tiles, fabric and many more surfaces. Stencil ideas: Stencil designs are laser-cut for sharpest detail and ready for use in a variety of projects. The plastic material is flexible, durable, and makes it easy to position these delightful accents on furniture, walls, stairs, doors, cement, wood, ceramic, fabric or paper - almost any flat surface from card making to basement floors. This stencil is laser-cut from transparent Mylar sheeting which is thin yet strong and hard wearing. It is reusable, durable, washable and flexible and suitable for use with most types of paint. The actual design is cut into the sheet with a small border left around the edges for masking off etc. Stencil Tile or Cement: Use stencils for personalized floor decoration by simply adding in the paint colors of your choice using a stencil brush or stencil rollers. Finish your room with some custom pillows with the same design. Stencil on Fabric: Use fabric paints or simply add Textile Medium (available at the craft store) to any acrylic paint to make it suitable for fabric stenciling. Use stencils on tablecloths, curtains, pillows, placemats, and more. Stencil on Furniture: Stencils are ideal for adding pattern to almost any hard surface, including furniture. Transform a tabletop, chest of drawers, or cabinet door with paint and stencils. Protect stenciled furniture with multiple coats of water-based varnish to protect your stencil art from normal wear and tear. Stencil on Paper: Use stamp ink and cosmetic sponges to make your own wrapping paper, greeting cards, journal and scrapbook pages. Stencil on Frames: Personalize a frame with acrylic paint. Stencil Wall Décor: Use stencils for personalized wall decoration by simply adding in the paint colors of your choice using a stencil brush or stencil rollers. Stencil on Cookies or Cakes: Use your stencil on buttercream, sugarpaste, fondant, chocolate or even directly onto your cake; use royal icing, lustre dusts, an airbrush, icing sugar, edible glitter, cocoa powder, cinnamon. Royal icing works well, or airbrush. Stencil on Wedding Coasters: Paint on a ceramic glaze or use a wood burning tool. Etch Glass: Use a stencil and etching medium to personalize wine glasses, mirrors, or windows. Wood: Pallet art is popular. Make your own design.
